About the author:
Kate Evans is an environmental campaigner who has been marrying words and images for political effect for the past twelve years. Her previous work includes Copse, a cartoon history of the roads protest movement in the UK.

Current projects include Mass Destruction, a short cartoon about the American occupation of Iraq. Born in Canada, she currently lives in Bath, England.

George Monbiot is a journalist, author, academic, and environmental and political activist who earned a United Nations Global 500 Award. He is the author of Heat, Captive State, and The Age of Consent and also writes a weekly column for the Guardian. Monbiot lives in Wales.
