Launch for Snakes & Ladders by Shaun Smith

The launch for Shaun Smith's young adult novel, Snakes & Ladders (The Dundurn Group), was held at the Gladstone Hotel on January 27, 2009 as a This Is Not A Reading Series event. Audience members played games, such as Sorry, Scrabble and Wacky Stacky, while munching on chips. Nathan Whitlock, author of A Week of This (ECW Press), interviewed Shaun while they played a giant version of Snakes and Ladders. Games masters Shannon Abel and Myrocia Watamaniuk were at the event to keep the games going.
