Canadian Women in the Literary Arts (CWILA) formed in response to the dearth of reviews by and about women writers in Canada. They're now supporting a Critic-in-Residence, the aim of which is "to foster vital criticism that promotes public awareness of women’s literary and critical presence in Canadian letters." The site hosts a count of book reviews written by and about women in Canada in 2012, essays, interviews and resources for writers. All are welcome to join!
