Canada's 100 Greatest Books – What Are Your Picks?
Submitted by clelia on April 6, 2010 - 9:42am
Halifax-based authors Stephen Patrick Clare and Trevor J. Adams, the duo behind Atlantic Canada's 100 Greatest Books, are spending the next six months "polling thousands of literary lovers across the country with an aim towards assembling the definitive top-100 list of Canadian books." The authors hope their project will inspire debate and encourage people to read more Canadian books. “Canadians are wonderful storytellers," Adams says, "Ultimately, this is a celebration of our national identity.” Voting begins this week and is limited to works of fiction and non-fiction.
