Canadian Sci-Fi in Montreal

If you're a fan of science fiction you may want to head to Montreal for the first weekend in August. The 67th World Science Fiction Convention runs from August 6th to 10th at the Palais des congrès de Montréal with bestselling Canadian author Julie E. Czerneda as the Master of Ceremonies. Robert J. Sawyer Books is co-sponsoring the SF Canada suite on Friday, August 7th (starting at 9:00 p.m.), which will feature Distant Early Warnings: Canada's Best Science Fiction, edited by Robert J. Sawyer and featuring stories by attending authors Paddy Forde, Julie E. Czerneda, Robert Charles Wilson, Karl Schroeder and Robert J. Sawyer.
