Submitted by Grace on September 17, 2015 - 11:20am
Every year, The Word On The Street is a highlight of the Toronto book lover's calendar. This year, there's even more to be excited about as the festival moves from its previous home in Queens Park Circle to the Harbourfront Centre. One of the most exciting aspects of the move is a new program that invites readers to take to the lake with their favourite authors. That's right — on September 27, you'll have the chance to climb aboard the beautiful tall ship Kajama and sail on Lake Ontario with the likes of Andrew Pyper, Lynn Crosbie and Terry Fallis, amongst many others. Tickets for the author cruises are $25, and all proceeds go to support author programming at The Word On The Street. However, courtesy of WOTS, we're pleased to offer our final contest for the festival — an amazing prize pack of books AND tickets to a 60-minute author cruise! To enter, send your name and mailing address to contests@openbooktoronto.com with the subject line WOTS: AUTHOR CRUISES by 11:59p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2015. The contest prize pack includes copies of:
