Small Print, The Little Paper & Rooster Studio (AKA Tot Squad) Present the Second Annual TOTSAPALOOZA: THE SPACE AGE RODEO EDITION
DIY Defies Gravity

Toronto Life Magazine awarded last winter's wildly popular tribute to the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) spirit, Totsapalooza, with number 14 on their 2009 list of "50 Reasons To Love Toronto". Fasten your seatbelts, celestial explorers! For this year's Totsapalooza: The Space Age Rodeo Edition, we've put together another amazing lineup of leading indie rockers, children's authors and inventive crafts to celebrate how the DIY ethos defies gravity. Don Kerr & The Jet Pack Orchestra will beam the party into another galaxy with the help of Bellwoods Trinity, I Eat Kids and Sho, Mo & The Monkey Bunch. Also on the bill is Katie Van Camp's award-winning tale, Harry & Horsie, (Harper Collins), Ashley Spires' stellar feline, Binky The Space Cat (Kids Can Press) and Chris A. Rutkowski's eye-opening I Saw It Too: Real UFO Sightings (Dundurn). Enjoy organic space snacks from gourmet caterer Pantry. Ryan and Lisa Kelly from The Centre For Art & Soul will run activity and dance sessions. Kids will build musical instruments and UFOs that can actually fly out of recycled materials. And there will be an intergalactic jam session featuring budding rockers and indie veterans! Presented by Small Print, The Little Paper and Rooster Studio, (AKA The Tot Squad) with BookShorts Literacy Program, Bunch, The Centre for Art & Soul, Dundurn Press, HarperCollins Canada, Kids Can Press, Pantry and
