Don't you love the term "New Literary Community Centre"?

Great news, Toronto's Bookclub-in-a-Box has just announced its latest venture, a new literary community centre at Bathurst & Eglinton called Bookclub-in-a-Box TALKS.

“From its inception, Bookclub-in-a-Box has reached out to readers of fiction, including students and teachers, through group meetings, review presentations, and our published discussion guides,” explains founder and CEO Marilyn Herbert. “We have had so many requests for other and different kinds of reading, writing, cultural, and artistic experiences, that we were motivated to bring all these together under one roof and into one room.”

Bookclub-in-a-Box TALKS is a literary-themed space offering a wide range of special events and educational programming for adults and children, including book and film discussions, writing workshops, art, drama and science classes and much more.

Located at 875 Eglinton Avenue West (Suite 210), Bookclub-in-a-Box TALKS is hosting an Open House on January 21st and January 25th. In addition, you can check out their programming guide here. Enjoy!
