Entitlement by Jonathan Bennett - A Striking Novel About Canada's Elite

Entitlement (ECW Press), the latest novel by award-winning author Jonathan Bennett, is about Andy Kronk, a former scholarship student at an elite boarding school, whose life is complicated by his relationship with the rich and powerful Aspinalls. In a recent review in The National Post, Shinan Govani calls Entitlement "an attractive read" that "nicely covers a world that goes often uncovered in our own literatures." He writes, "what's striking most of all about the novel is its analysis of class -- Toronto-style. How class is present, but also goes unacknowledged, and how this differs from America or England."
