Canada's Largest Zine Fair and Festival of Alternative Culture is this Sunday, October 24, 2010 1 p.m.–7 p.m. at The Great Hall, 1087 Queen Street West. Robots and puppets, live celebrity art drawing, 1–2 punch competition (win some prizes, pitch your book) and hundreds of zine people selling their cute things. Plus, at 6 p.m., the radical reading series with today's hottest new indie writers. This fall classic is put on by your friendly neighbourhood Broken Pencil Magazine, and the new issue will be available at the door.

Admission is five dollars but you can also pick up cheap subscriptions deals all day at the Broken Pencil table which comes with your choice of great books such as Can't Lit edited by Richard Rosenbaum (ECW Press) The Program by Hal Niedzviecki (Random House)or Wrong Bar by Nathaniel G. Moore (Tightrope Books).
