Share |

On May 21 and 22 at Harbourfront, the Ontario Library Association (OLA) announced the winners of the Forest of Reading Awards to an enthusiastic crowd that included more than 3,000 children. The awards are coordinated by professionals from schools and libraries across Ontario, and the winners are determined by votes from young readers. According to the OLA website, “the program is designed to encourage reading for fun.” The OLA’s aim is “to foster free public access to information and to promote Canada’s history and culture through the programs and services of Ontario libraries.”
