Trillium Book Awards Author Reading 2015

Keep Toronto Reading's Lit Lunches

Share |

The Toronto Public Library’s month-long book celebration, Keep Toronto Reading, is underway, and there are still over two weeks of free and fun literary activities to check out at the TPL branches. Keep Toronto Reading is hosting Lit Lunches, wine tastings, performances, kids’ events, and more. Why not spend your lunch hanging out with a bunch of fellow bookworms at a warm library while listening to authors discuss their work? You can bring your own lunch or buy one at the event for a mere $5.

The authors at upcoming Lit Lunches include Barry Callaghan and Ray Robertson at the Deer Park Branch on February 13, Dave Bidini and Paul Quarrington at the Pape/Danforth Branch on February 13, Brendan Howley and Jose Latour at the City Hall Branch on February 20, Linwood Barclay and Maureen Jennings at the Northern District Branch on February 27, and Ken Babstock and Souvankham Thammavongsa at the Runnymede Branch on February 27. See our events page for more details on the Lit Lunches and other great Keep Toronto Reading events, or go to http://www.torontopubliclibrar....
