Trillium Book Awards Author Reading 2015

A New Public Events Series from the LRC

Share |

Our friends at the Literary Review of Canada have teamed up with the Gardner Museum for a new series of public events. The series is a new initiative to highlight authors and gather together the community of LRC readers. The events are free, light snacks are provided and there’s a cash bar.

The first of the events takes place on Monday, October 4 at 7 p.m., with a talk from Peter C. Newman. He will be telling stories and sharing his insights about how he captures the essence of a politician on the page. His talk will be followed by a Q&A. Space is still available, but seating is limited. Guests should RSVP, either by email at, or by calling 416-531-1483. See our Events Page for details.

The second event is on November 15 and features Andrew Heintzman, author The New Entrepreneurs: Building a Green Economy for the Future (House of Anansi), in conversation with Toby Heaps, editor of Corporate Knights. They’ll be discussing Heintzman’s view of the ongoing green revolution in business and its political implications.

Future LRC events at the Gardiner will take place in the Spring of 2011. For more information, you can visit
