Are you ready for the trick-or-treaters, jack-o-lanterns and more candy then you can possibly eat? To help you get ready for the scariest night of the year, we’ve put together a list of some of our favourite Halloween stories for kids. Enjoy your night of fun with some of these spooky reads!

Black and Bittern Was Night (Kids Can Press) written by Robert Heidbreder, illustrated by John Martz
Ages 4-8

The grown ups call off trick-or-treating when the skul-a-mug-mugs come to town. It’s up to the kids to take back Halloween in this humorous story told in nonsense verse.

Ages 3-7

Ages 9-12
