Pain and Passion: The History of Stampede Wrestling reviewed in 411mania
Submitted by clelia on October 26, 2007 - 9:27am
Heath McCoy’s new book, Pain and Passion: The History of Stampede Wrestling (ECW Press, October 2007), “tells how a small, family–run wrestling business profoundly influenced the world of professional wrestling as we know it today.” Pain and Passion was reviewed this week by Michael Weyer for 411mania who calls it a "brutally honest, balanced... must-read to anyone from either side of the border as a great understanding of how wrestling works...and how it doesn't." Visit 411mania to read the full review. Heath McCoy recently co-authored a book about Chris Beniot, called Benoit: Wrestling with the Horror that Destroyed a Family and Crippled a Sport (ECW Press) that will be for sale in November. Visit the ECW website to read more about McCoy. Related item from our archives |
