On Monday, November 15th, This Is Not A Reading Series presented "Ghost," the launch of Jim Carroll's Petting Zoo. The tribute to the late Carroll featured film-maker John L'Ecuyer, creator of the movie Curtis's Charm based on a Jim Carroll novella, in conversation with Marc Glassman. William New, host of Elvis Monday and front man for his band, NewFrance, covered "People Who Died," written and sung originally by the Jim Carroll Band. Toronto photographer Anna Ross was there to cover the event for Open Book.
