Ralph Nader’s Holiday Reading List
Submitted by clelia on December 19, 2007 - 12:51pm
Consumer advocate and author Ralph Nader has put together a holiday reading list of “recent books that relate to the quest for understanding today’s events.” Nader is American, so the list is light on Canadian content, but one of his nine recommendations is the noteworthy Canadian book, Medicare: Facts, Myths, Problems & Promise, edited by Bruce Campbell and Greg Marchildon (James Lorimer & Company). Nader calls Medicare “A tour de force.” Read Nader’s comments on Medicare and the rest of his reading list at Nader.org. Go to the James Lorimer & Co. website to read more about Medicare and to peruse the rest of their fine catalogue. Related item from our archives |
