Imagining Toronto “explores intersections of literature and place in the Toronto region.” Amy Lavender Harris, the curator of the project, states, “catching up with a city's stories is any urban literature's greatest challenge and its greatest opportunity.” Visit her site to read about her project and to peruse her extensive library of literary and critical works about Toronto. Harris is a regular contributor to Reading Toronto, a contributing editor at Spacing magazine, and she is currently writing a book about Toronto literature and the imaginative qualities of cities. Check out her article, "Six Cures for Literary Amnesia," in Open Book's Magazine. Related item from our archives |
