Two BookLand Press Titles Selected for First Nations Books Catalogue

Share |

BookLand Press has two novels, Where Lives Take Root and The Roads of Go Home Lake, written by award winning author Christina Kilbourne, selected for the Association of Book Publishers of British Columbia (ABPBC) First Nations Books Catalogue. This catalogue, currently in production, will consist of 154 teacher-librarian vetted titles from both small and large Canadian publishers, including Key Porter Books, Douglas & McIntyre and Raincoast Books.

Aimed at the education market – and to be distributed to schools, libraries, library wholesalers, band schools, aboriginal organizations and independent schools across the country – this full-colour catalogue will help publishers effectively and efficiently reach the K-12 market. In addition, it will allow librarians a broad view of a wide-range of publishers’ titles in one comprehensive package, which will help when building their library collection. The catalogue will have an initial print run of 10,000.
