I am ashamed to say that don’t have one yet. I need to get on this! Usually just Googling my name will bring up my books.

I am a writer, a dog breeder of Welsh Springer Spaniels and a mother of three very nice kids.

Latest work:
My last graphic novel was Dracula Madness with Kids Can Press.

What’s it about in a nutshell:
Dracula Madness is about Sam and her two friends. Sam learns of a spooky house down the road and after a lot of spying she jumps to some very funny conclusions!

What first inspired you to create comics or graphic novels?
My sheepdog Sam was the most interesting and comical dog that ever lived. She had to know everything. Since she was so curious I created her personality as a dog detective and it all went from there!

What for you makes a comic or graphic novel AWESOME!?
I like graphic novels that take you into the world of the imagination – things that you don’t see every day – things that you can imagine and add to in your own mind as you journey through the pages of dialogue and art.

What subjects are you obsessed with?
I love the world of the imaginary. My other interests include family, nature, my beautiful, smart dogs and the entire world of books and plays.

If you weren’t doing comics or graphic novels, what would you be doing?
I would be writing. That’s who I am. I love to sit down and write. I will always write.

What’s your favourite graphic novel of all time?
I was really pleased with Dracula Madness when I saw the final product. I think Jo Rioux’s art is the best. She has captured Sam’s essence and that is not easy. It is a great gift. Her art enhanced my writing in a very special way.

What are you working on now?
I am working on a novel called Dragonfly Pond and will probably be working on that for the rest of 2010. I can’t tell you any details of the novel as it is not yet published. But I can tell you that I love it!
