The Six String Nation guitar is a cross-Canada multi-media project. Jowi Taylor has been touring Voyageur, made from 64 pieces of Canadian history — including Pierre Trudeau’s canoe paddle, Paul Henderson’s hockey stick 1972 Summit Series hockey stick and the sacred Golden Spruce of Haida Gwaii — across the country. He chronicles his experience in the book Six String Nation (Douglas & McIntyre) and speaks about the project with an excitement that is truly contagious.
