Write Across Ontario Winner featured on CBC Metro Morning!

One of the winners of the Write Across Ontario contest (presented by the International Festival of Authors and Open Book) sat down to chat with CBC personality Matt Galloway on Monday, December 16. Jaimie-Ann Adams is a Grade 12 student from Parkdale Collegiate Institute, and one of the winners of this year's Write Across Ontario creative writing competition. You can listen to Jaimie and Matt's discussion on the CBC website. The three other winners of the WAO contest are: Grade 5–6: Meghan Butcher, A.R. Kaufman Public School, Kitchener Grade 7–8: Rhianyth Warwick, King Edward Junior/Senior Public School, Toronto Grade 9–10: Alana Dunlop, Erin District High School, Erin The unique writing contest is open to middle and high school students from Ontario and this year the four writing prompts were provided by Kevin Sylvester, Richard Scrimger, Lesley Livingston and Dionne Brand.
