For The Walrus McGill Annual Debate at the Segal Centre on March 30, 2011 Simon Brault, author of No Culture, No Future (Cormorant Books) squared off with fellow writer Witold Rybczynski about city building and the cultural and social importance of urban planning. Rybczynski is the author of Makeshift Metropolis: Ideas About Cities.

The evening was moderated by La Presse columnist and Radio-Canada broadcaster Nathalie Petrowski.
